Bio: I am a alcoholic in recovery, with almost 4 years sober. I've gone through all the required courses to become a counslor of drug and alcohol addiction. You have to have worked in the field for 4000 hours before you can become a "licensed counslor" (that takes about 2 years). I've got just about 650 hours so far. This is a field that you dont get into for the money. more to be of some service to your fellow man (or woman) than anything else. It does have its rewards. If I just help one person to change there life for the better, I know Im doing my job. They told me when I first got into recovery that I should wait at least 1 year before I started thinking about a women. well, I guess I've waited long enough. In fact I'm getting downright lonely, (and horny). Oops, did I write that? One other thing, some people conisider me a throwback to the 60s/70s. I have long hair and a semi long beard. Plus, I always wear a ballcap. (And no, it dosent cover up a bald spot.)
