Mercurial, quixotic, adventurous, intelligent, sensual. 6'1" 180 lbs w/ brown hair and steel-blue eyes. I've been told I have nice hands. I'm a seeker of knowledge and truth. Intelligence ranks high w/ me, but personality counts more. While external beauty fades, a mutual attraction is necessary. Dishonesty is not only a turn-off; it's revolting. Not looking to play mind games. I accept you for who you are and I expect the same. This doesn't mean we have to agree w/ each other. It does, however, require that we be honest w/ each other and respect each other's autonomy. Due to past issues, I'm not very trusting, but I am a loyal friend. I value my integrity, and am not willing to give it away. I choose to be a gentleman b/c I believe it is the right way to live. I see no weakness in crying. I am by nature helping, though I've come to realize some ppl do not want help. I've had more life experiences than most ppl in their 80s, but am always willing to listen in order to learn. I've been a paramedic, firefighter (and officer), dancer, artist, business owner, barristar, manager, etc. I'm currently a nurse. Medicine comes easily to me, and I want to treat the patient, not the disease. Western medicine is finally realizing that we are holistic creatures, and adressing this issue. I believe MDs have their place, but Nurse Practitioners are more versitile. Perhaps it is b/c of the difference in the way they train. I was married to a MD and that was the linchpin on my decision NOT to pursue a medical degree. I play chess and most other games. I am always involved in about 6 intellectual avenues at once.
