Latest Status: Transplanted Tennessee man, looking for some Southern Comfort to help me get accustomed to this Northern Climate
Bio: I'm a diehard romantic who won't give up on love, looking for a meaningful relationship with that special lady, who I know is out there somewhere, wanting to be found. I am a much younger person than my age would lead you to believe, physically fit and attractive. Although I am getting a little gray, new people I meet usually underestimate my age by 10-15 years. I am kind and gentle, quick-witted, good with people one-on-one or in group settings, somewhat quiet and serious at first, but witty and mischievious once you get to know me. I love lots of things associated with the outdoors and nature, including hiking, camping, canoeing, swimming, snorkeling/scuba diving, golf, gardening, jogging, trail riding (horses), or riding bikes along country roads. Sorry, but I'm a southern man, and never got into snow skiing. I also like going to the movies, social or sporting events, dining out and dancing; but I like grilling out, dining in, cuddling up to watch a movie or a favorite TV show, playing cards, or just lighting some candles and putting on some good music. Oh, I'm an avid pool player too, so don't challenge me unless you're bringing your A game. I am divorced from my high school sweetheart. We just grew apart during the babe-rearing and career-building years, had 18 good years together, followed by 12 pretty sad years. I do have two wonderful sons, one still in college and one just finishing med school. The die-hard romantic in me brought me to Indiana, to be with someone I met while at LeConte Wilderness Lodge in the Smoky Mountains, one of my favorite places on earth. She swept me off my feet, and I was convinced that she was the one. When I had an opportunity to sell my business and start anew, I threw caution to the wind and followed my heart. She wasn't the one, it was a disaster, and she's been out of my life for over a year. I've finally healed from those wounds, and need to get on with my life, and find someone worthy of sharing my love.
